Sir Percival, Knight of Camelot.
His first appearance in Merlin is in the episode The Coming of Arthur part two (S3E13). His family was killed by Cenred’s men, and he teams up with Lancelot to go to Camelot. Not long after that he travels, with the other knights, to the Castle of the Ancient Kings where he is dubbed Sir Percival, Knight of Camelot.
In Arthurian mythology, Percival is sometimes referred to as a “gentle giant” and is most famous as being one of the “Grail Knights”. Depending on the version, Percival is either the only Grail Knight, or shares this with Galahad (his son) and Sir Bors.
In Merlin Percival is portrayed by the British actor Tom Hopper, a graduate from the Rose Bruford College. He has appeared in several TV-series (Doctor Who, Casualty), before joining the cast of Merlin.
In 2014 Tom starred in the series Black Sails and the movie Northmen, a Viking Saga.
For the love of Camelot!
