Self published BBC Merlin continuation book

I am curious what fellow Merlin fans thoughts are about this? This woman https://m.facebook.com/miascraftideas
wrote a continuation fanfic of Merlin https://www.fanfiction.net/u/5011640/mia-jane-71
and then self published it on Lulu. http://www.lulu.com/shop/merlin-emrys/m ... 23988.html
I bought it. Along with the only other continuation available for sale http://www.lulu.com/shop/emile-de-emme/ ... 77593.html
because I will take any Merlin where I can get it! I had no idea what to expect because the description on Lulu gives nothing. But once I started reading I recognized it at once. Anyway, I am really curious what others think/feel about this. Is it a good thing? Clearly not legal. But will it help or hinder the end game goal of bringing Merlin back? And does that depend on how good the content is? Would it depend on how many fanfics popped up? Would it make a difference if it got big enough that it drew the attention of the actual owners of Merlin?

In other news, I made it a goal a couple weeks back to watch EVERYTHING Colin Morgan has been in. It all started when I watched Testament of Youth. I heard there was a movie in theaters w Colin in it so I decided to check it out. I didn't even look up what it was about because I didn't want to dissuede myself. It was SO lovely when he came onto the big screen. I have no idea what the other main actors were doing because my eyes just stayed on him! I got it bad, I know.
I almost left the movie about halfway through but I told myself that would probably be a great dishonor to Colin Morgan, so I stayed. Very glad that I did. The whole movie struck me as what would have been helpful for Merlin fans to get after such a horrid ending. We weren't even allowed to grieve properly. It was so abrupt! But it was the very end that felt like it was a message straight to my heart, only concerning Merlin instead of the characters in that movie.
So I got a silly notion in my head. What if Colin feels heartbroken over the ending of Merlin also? Is that really so far of a stretch? I have no idea. But I decided to watch all of his stuff and see what the "messages" might be. It was a fun way to pass the time.
I still have no better insight how Colin truly feels about the end of Merlin, but I made a short Youtube vid: https://youtu.be/UYxktDOXchk
of my take on how it could seem he is just as heartbroken as the rest of us. I will leave it up to u to decide if that could actually be true. ;)

Thanks, Amberyl, for sharing this with us! I'll try to dive into that story you mentioned this weekend. And I can only hope the creators of Merlin will read fanfic, so many great ideas to make a new series or movie!
And I thought Testament of Youth was a wonderful movie too! Have fun watching all the other movies and series Colin has appeared in, you won't be disappoined!
For the love of Camelot!
