Hey so yesterday I started my Marathon armed with some Irish coffee, and good relaxing light, I watched episodes 1-3. I think one of the things that stood out the most was, how young they looked and Bradley has slightly longer hair which was so lovely. I also felt the strong relationship between merlin and Gwen, There were times when she seemed rather smitten with him. Morgana was radiant in the first episodes and of course remained so, but she really gave the show some oomph, especially how she stood up to Uther. Well looking forward to 4-6. Check in tomorrow. Please let me know your thoughts when you re-watch the series. Byeeeeee

I can't bear to watch through them all at once, all over again just yet. The ending is still pretty new for me. But anytime a friend or family member is watching an episode, it doesn't matter what I had previously been doing... it's like I can't take my eyes off the screen. Each episode really is like a bit of magic! I look forward to reading the comments as you guys re-watch the eps! :)

Wow my Merlin marathon is well underway, I find it so relaxing to watch them in the evenings and last night my two sons were in my room and ended up watching a couple of episodes with me. It's really lovely to see Morgana as she was, so sweet, caring and loving towards Gwen, Arthur and Merlin and her courage to stand up to Uther. I have to go now I want to watch the black Knight before bed. I love that episode. We learn of Arthurs birth, how he was born of Magic. I love how Uther shows his love of his child and intends to give his life to save his son. Oh and we have our first glimpse of Excalibur. Night all

I really wanted to start watching season 1 again, but it was not to be... So I will start this evening, and see Merlin's arrival at Camelot. One thing that's forever on my mind is when Arthur and Merlin first meet, and Arthur, for the first time in his life I think, finds someone who actually dares to stand up to him!

SEASON ONE DONE
Well that's season one over and I have to say I think I most enjoyed re'watching The Moment of Truth
How Morgana, Gwen and Arthur came together for Merlin it was so overwhelming and a big, " oh how sweet"raced through my mind. We all know Arthur would have accepted Merlin's magic eventually and it would have led to some fantastic storylines. But we can wait. Merlin had so much to offer not just as a show but Morals, good Conduct, excellent role models and informative to mention a few could be learned from the show. So goodnight. Season Two here I come

I'm afraid I'm lagging a bit behind now... I'm still watching season 1 and it is pure joy so far! It still feels like visiting old friends.

It is so lovely to see how close Gwen and Morgana were in the early episodes. Anyway I have to go. Merlin awaits
