Colin Morgan as Ariel in the Shakespeare's The Tempest (2013.) Shakespeare's Globe Theater, London UK. He gave an outstanding display of character for which he won Best Featured Actor in a New Production in Broadway World West End Awards (2013). The Tempest was later broadcast to cinemas as a part of Globe On Screen in May 2014, and with a subsequent DVD release in July 2014.

Colin received excellent reviews from the most famous critics in newspapers such as Washington Post, Birmingham Post and many others.
Fully focused and dedicated to his work, Colin always gives his best, not playing, but becoming that character in every tiny detail. He is a naturally gifted artist, a rare gem. A lot of hard work and sacrifice shows its fruits in the best way: with modesty, compassion, love and kindness.
I can freely say he is the perfect human angel.

I'm so sad I missed this. I followed it closely from the US when it was on but just couldn't get over to see the performance.

I am now in the UK and have the opportunity to go to The Globe.... as I have never been before. The Globe is a replica of the theatre Shakespeare's plays were performed at when he wrote them, authentic. Amazing! What they call the 'yard" is just a space where people can pay 5 pounds per ticket and stand for the entire performance. But you are close to the actors. And of course it's "round"

I wish Colin were there now... but there you go. He's not currently on stage in London. I'm still going to the Globe to see something.... and hope that one day Colin will return there and do more Shakespeare. I'm sure he will.

A truly wonderful play. Not only was Colin outstanding as Ariel, I think the rest of the cast was excellent too! The whole production never lagged, there was humour and drama, a real enjoyment to watch! Unfortunately I couldn't attend a performance (just like you, Iresha), but I've watched the DVD twice now, and would happily watch it again.
I particulary liked the "ballet for six" where they try to keep the lovers Miranda and Fernando apart (but not succeeding...). Colin is quite a graceful dancer, don't you think?
For the love of Camelot!

I was there and I can say that I am still under the influence of its magic. Colin is not only a great actor, dancer and singer, an artist, he is magic itself and that's what fascinates me.I'll never forget that feeling of magic that he spreads around him. He does this through the media as well, but in person it's an indescribable feeling.
I believe Tony, you've felt the same thing on the show Mojo, which you attended.
